About John Quinn Auctioneers
Despite the difficult market conditions that currently prevail John Quinn & Co. report a very active Spring with excellent sales being achieved in areas all over Galway City. Last week alone John Quinn disposed of a 3 bedroom semi-detached residence at Monalee Heights, Knocknacarra. The property had only been on the market for approx. three weeks and attracted good interest. An excellent 3 bedroom semi-detached residence was also sold at White Oaks, Clybaun Road, a 4 bed. semi-detached was quickly snapped up in Gleann Dara, Rahoon and a property in need of modernization at Glanrevagh, Corrandulla, which had attracted considerable interest. A 4 bed. semi-detached property was sold at Cnoc An Oir which had only been on the market for less than two weeks. At Cimin Mor on the Cappagh Road a 2 bed. property was sold – again within two weeks of same coming on the market. In a brief comment John Quinn confirmed that activity in the past couple of weeks has been very good indeed, despite the changes that have occurred in the market place over the past few months. A certain sales strategy is in place for every house that comes on the market with John Quinn & Co.. We have had enormous interest from all the properties that we have advertised both in newspaper print and Internet coverage and our own very popular Website at www.johnquinn.ie and also our properties are also on www.daft.ie You can download Brochures on every property that comes on to the market. He continued – certainly times have changed – of that there is no question. However, the reality is that houses continue to be sold, albeit at slightly reduced prices. The past number of weeks have been very encouraging to see such movements in the market, despite the turbulent economy and adverse press and media coverage, which at times can be quite off putting for persons interested in doing something within the market, whether they be a first time buyer or somebody trading up. Finally, John Quinn says that the next few months should remain steady, if somewhat unspectacular………. Full details on all John Quinn’s properties can be obtained from John Quinn at 091/569174 or at www.johnquinn.ie. John Quinns’Offices are open on Saturdays also.
