Global Village has a great early bird menu. The Boatyard has wonderful harbour views and fish dishes. Doyles for excellent seafood and old time ambience. Paul Geaneys is lovely for lunch or dinner and as a great seated and heated outdoor area. Ashe's on Main Street have a great lunch menu with fab burgers. Out of the Blue serves the best local produce and oysters. My Boy Blue or great breakfasts and brunches. The Blue Zone wine bar for the best pizza and jazz. Reel Dingle Fish or The Fish Box for the perfect fish n chips takeaway. James Long on the Marina and Quinns in Ventry is a delight - full of flavour and they have a great kid's menu. Bob Griffins also great outdoor areas. Enjoy an array of food trucks & coffee shops.Walks in the AreaMany walks are on your doorstep, the renowned Dingle Lighthouse/ Beenbawn Beach can be accessed from Dingle - Starting opposite Morans Garage walk down An Cúilin, a little street opposite Moran's garage. At the end of the street, take the coastal path to the right of the gate to the Business Park. Follow the path along the coast to the Skellig Hotel. At the hotel go through a stile onto the grassy path that leads you to Hussey's Folly. You can continue past the Folly to the Lighthouse. From here you can turn back or continue on along the cliff path to Beenbawn Beach. The path continues all the way to Doonsheane beach. Ballinaboula loop - From Main Street walk up Goat Street until you come to the large chimney of the fire station on the right. Turn right here and just past the fire station take the track to the right heading up the hill. This looped track gives wonderful views over Dingle town. Eask Tower - Looking out from Dingle across the harbour you will see a tower, similar to a giant Dalek on top of the hill. This is known as Eask Tower. You can drive out to the bottom of the hill (10 minute drive) or you can make a day of it and walk from the town (around 5 hours return). At the Milltown roundabout go over the bridge past the Dingle Distillery. Continue for 3 miles and take the left turn signposted for Burnham Riding School and Holden Leather Goods. Follow this road until you come to the kiosk for the Eask Tower on the right (if driving park here and take the 30 minute walk to the tower). A donation of 2 euro is requested. From the top there are 360 degree views back towards Dingle and out to the Atlantic.Local BeachesThere are so many stunning beaches to choose from. Kinard and Minard beach are both close by. When the tide is out there is a lovely beach by Hussey's Folly just a 20 minute walk from Dingle town. From here you can continue on foot to Beenbawn beach or even further to Doonsheane beach for a long walk. Beenbawn or Doonsheane are only 5 minutes by car and are well sign - posted. For swimming or pier jumping (at high tide) the Blue Flag Ventry beach is ideal and can be reached by car in just over 5 minutes. Further along the Slea Head drive near Dunquin is the stunning Coumeenoole beach. Beyond that is Clogher Beach. Both are so stunning they have been used for film locations but are not safe for swimming TransportParkingThere is parking at the property.Public transportAIRPORT TRANSFERS:www.dingleshuttlebus.comTel: 00353 (0) 872 504 767 / 00353 (0) 872 504 767Kathleen Curran Cabs+353 87 254 9649www.kathleencurrancabs.comThinking of selling? We have the right buyers if you have the right property.Five Star International - Targeted global audienceTel: +353 (0)1 566 8494Email: admin@fivestar.ie
