Bedrooms Ballywiheen Cottage has four bedrooms. On the ground floor is the quaint master bedroom which leads off the sunroom at the southern end of the house has patio doors opening into the garden and its own ensuite. Also on the ground floor is a large double bedroom adjoining the dining area and has its own ensuite with a bath. There are two twin rooms in the mezzanine area up the wooden steps with cute furnishings and velux windows. All the bedrooms have the unique rustic appeal of the rest of the cottage where rough white walls, revealed stonework and quirky style unite to create desirable interiors. Bathrooms There are three bathrooms in the cottage. The large bathroom is up a few steps from the kitchen and has a shower, sink and toilet. The master bedroom ensuite also has a shower, sink and toilet. The third bathroom which is an ensuite has a bath, shower, sink and toilet. All the bathrooms are on the ground floor. Living Area This open plan living area is a wonderful space to entertain or relax. The comfy couches are gathered around the natural stone fire place which is the central feature of this sizeable room. A timeless Irish dining suite and dresser sits down the other end with stone arches leading through into the south-west facing sunroom that borders the house where its only polite to lounge for hours with a book drenched in sun. Kitchen The kitchen table is the heart of every Irish home as it is in Ballywiheen Cottage. The old and new blend together seamlessly as the stainless steel appliances offset the rough stonework. The fresh, white kitchen has a dishwasher, freestanding oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and food blender. Outside Space Beautiful established gardens, parking for 2/3 cars and a patio area with an outdoor wooden bench. In the garden is a large yurt used as a utility room with a washer and dryer and can double up as large playroom for kids in bad weather. A beautiful space.
