If you're visiting during the cooler seasons, the large freestanding tub in the master bathroom steps up to the plate instead. As you can probably guess from the panorama, it doesn't take long to reach the beach – in fact, you can be standing on the sand in no more than three minutes on foot. It also only takes five minutes to drive over to the Table Mountain National Park, in which you'll find a wealth of hiking routes and vantage points. Cape Town's City Centre is just over ten minutes away in the car, too.
