The village enjoys fantastic scenery and is rich in history and heritage. Blair Atholl is home to the impressive Blair Castle with its own private army, the only one in Europe, as well as the Blair Atholl Visitor Information Centre where you can learn of the best attractions in the area, Atholl Country Life Museum and a 9-hole golf course. Nearby attractions to include the Killiecrankie Gorge (3 miles) and the Falls of Bruar (4 miles), there are also a variety of scenic walking and biking routes for you to choose from in and around the village. From the village you can Ben y vrackie and there are numerous munros just to the north of the village. The Atholl Country Life Museum and the famous House of Bruar, Blair Atholl itself hosts a selection of restaurants, cafes and shops to explore.
