Location
From M8 Cork/Dublin Motorway, leave the M8 at Johnstown Exit 4 and take road to Rathdowney. From Rathdowney take the R435 to Donaghmore Village and turn right immediately after Mooneys pub and continue on this road for approx 1km take entrance on right at Castletown House.

Donaghmore Famine Workhouse Museum is within 20 minutes walk of Castleview and is well worth a visit. You can also choose from six 18 hole Golf Courses all from 7 to 45 minutes drive away. Including the famous Killenaard course designed by Mr Steve Ballesteros. We have a selection of children’s playgrounds all within 20 minutes drive. Relax and enjoy beautiful mountain views including the Slieve Blooms and the Devils Bit. There are a lovely selection of way marked walks in the area. Rathdowney Designer Outlet is 7 minutes drive. Pub within 10-15 minutes walk in Donaghmore village. Traditional music available locally.

This beautiful accommodation consists of four bedrooms and can sleep up to eight people at ease. Guests can enjoy the comfortable accommodation which is tastefully decorated througout. The bedrooms breakdown consists of one double and one twin room and bathroom on ground floor and upstairs one double and one twin room and bathroom. Bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge. Childs cot available on request.

County Laois is located in the midlands of Ireland. Places to visit include the Rock of Dunamase and the towns and villages linked to the Quakers and Huguenots and of course Slieve Bloom Mountains. Angling, golf and horse riding are very popular activities in County Laois.
