In the nearby village of Cleggan there are three pubs and a shop and you can catch a ferry here to visit the islands of Inishbofin and Inishturk. You can also go deep sea fishing on one of the local charter boats. On a clear summer evening there is a spectacular view of the sunset across the sea and Atlantic islandsInside: You walk into a great little porch where you can leave your sandy clothes or your mucky boats. Off a small corridor to your left you will find a cosy high ceiling sitting room with sea views. Enjoy the open fire or take a seat at the writing desk and get creative while watching the sea. From the sitting from you have a few steps down into the kitchen/dining area. The kitchen has everything you could want to cook a great seafood meal for the family aswell as dishwasher, washing machine & dryer. At the other end of the room you find the dining table in the conservatory area, offering you sea views while you enjoy your meal. At the other end of the cottage you find a twin & double room both with sea views. And a large bathroom with large walk-in shower & separate bathroom.This whole cottage is full of character from the thatched roof, high ceiling, old style open fire & old country furniture throughout.
