Connell's House is a beautifully restored thatched home which retains much of its original character, whilst also incorporating some very modern features. The decoration is an eclectic mix of period and new furniture, fixtures and fittings.
It was in existence during the famous Battle of the Boyne in 1690. The property has recently undergone an extensive renovation and has been restored into a unique home.
The Barn is perfectly located for visiting the many historical sites in the beautiful Boyne Valley, as well Dublin city and Belfast. It's only a ten minute drive to Brú na Boinne (New Grange), Battle of the Boyne, Hill of Slane and Millmount Tower, amongst many other sites along the Boyne Valley Drive.
Connell's House is adjacent to Connell's Barn, which is a beautifully restored Stone Barn and is also available to rent through Fivestar.ie, it sleeps up to four people.

Connell’s House has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a sitting room and a large dining kitchen and sleeps up to ten guests.
Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor and has a king size bed. The adjacent bathroom has a shower over the bath. This bedroom can accommodate a fold away bed.
Bedroom 2 is on the first floor and can be made up with two single beds or a super king size bed. There is a shared en-suite shower room with bedroom 3. This bedroom can accommodate a fold away bed.
Bedroom 3 is on the first floor and can be made up with two single beds or a super king size bed. There is a shared en-suite shower room with bedroom 2.
Bedroom 4 is on the first floor and has two single beds with an en-suite shower room.

Connell's House overlooks the Fair Green in Duleek village, which is a pretty green with mature trees, old courthouse, church and parochial house. It’s a quiet location with plenty of free on street parking. The village has a variety of shops, cafes, pub and restaurant all within walking distance.
Connell's House & Barn is conveniently located 5 minutes from Junction 8 of the M1 motorway, providing easy access to Dublin airport, Dublin city and Belfast.
