The charming fishing and farming village of Ballyvaughan is nearby and has many shops and pubs. Five miles from Kilfenora is The Burren Perfumery, which is Ireland's oldest working perfumery. The lively spa town of Lisdoonvarna is a short drive away and is home to the 150 year old Matchmaking Festival. The town offers pubs, restaurants and Irish music. The coastal village of Lahinch is only a couple of miles from Lisdoonvarna and offers sandy beaches, golf, surfing, sailing and fishing. This area of County Clare has something for everyone.
