This cosy village is home to two shops and two friendly pubs and is surrounded by a total of six lakes making this a paradise for anglers. Loughglynn provided an excellent base for touring the region and within half an hour drive is Knock Airport and the vibrant town of Roscommon. Region The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.
