Either that or the hand-painted claw-foot tub in the main bathroom – ideal for a soak after hiking up Glastonbury Tor. Or, soak the day away in the outdoor hot tub. This church is tucked into the hamlet of East Horrington, a ten-minute drive from the Cathedral town of Wells where you’ll find shops, cafés and plenty of places to eat. It’s a twenty-minute drive to Glastonbury and the countryside in between is full of walking and cycling trails to explore. Home truths: *A former church, this place sits in a graveyard so may not be for those who are superstitious *There is free parking on premises and a car is recommended to reach the nearest supermarket *At capacity there will be a few sharing the same room with three single beds in one room and a double and single in another *Use of the hot tub is prohibited after 10pm and noise restrictions are in place after 11pm *Up to two dogs are welcome to join you as long as they keep off the furniture *Barbecues and fireworks are not permitted *Across various mezzanine and levels, children should be supervised .
