At the west side of the cottage the patio area will be a lovely sun trap during the summer months; making it suitable for outdoor dining with BBQ and relaxing furniture. The cottage is newly refurbished inside and outside. Downstairs is converted into an open- plan kitchen/dining/sitting room next to the bathroom. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. The main bedroom is suitable for two adults while the second bedroom’s bunk bed can sleep up to 3/4 children. The cottage has amazing views over the Atlantic Ocean so is called “Atlantic Vistas”. Use of entire cottage, 2 bedrooms upstairs, Kitchen/dining/sitting room downstairs including electric fire, fridge, air fryer, kettle etc. Downstairs bathroom with electric shower. There is a rural pub close by with pub grub- Grange Tavern. A Local co-cperative store a few minutes away in Barryroe, Monks Lane Restaurant 10 minutes drive to Timoleague. Traditional music in Charlie’s Bar, Timoleague and Teach Beag, Clonakilty, among others. A regular rural bus service passing on the road outside links the town of Clonakilty to villages of Ring, Barryroe, Timoleague, Kilbrittain, Ballinspittle to Kinsale town and back, all along the Atlantic Way. This coastal route has spectacular views over Courtmacsherry, Harbour View, Garretstown and the Old Head of Kinsale with the option of hop-on, hop-off. This service is free to OAP’s and €5 return for others. It can be availed of by guests who do not have their own transportation or flying in from abroad. Frequent bus services from Cork City to Clonakilty could link up with this local link. Other things to note The owners live on site with separate entrance so guests can ask any questions but will not be disturbed otherwise.
