You’ll find this home on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, which, of course, means you can prepare yourself for the most magnificent views. To make the most of your lookout, wake up early and watch the sunrise on the horizon, or if you’re a night owl, then dusk might be a more suitable time to track the sun as it dips below the water from your vantage point on the balcony. The time in between can be spent golfing, learning to surf, going to the zoo or Belmont amusement park, but we would recommend the beach. There are a few options to choose from, all reachable by car, that show off the pristine white sand and deep turquoise water that San Diego is known for. Make provisions so you’re able to spend the entire day kicking back under an umbrella – sunscreen, gripping book, delectable food, you know the score.
Back home, the vistas are always visible through one of the many big windows and you'll also find that the bedrooms have doors that open out onto the balcony. Throw them wide open so you're able to listen to the movement of the water far below.
The kitchen is perfectly equipped for margarita making when you find yourself a little parched on game nights, and if you happen to come into possession of avocados, why not whip up guacamole and grab some tortillas chips for the ultimate snack?
