The house consists, of two double rooms, so it can sleep four people comfortably, a kitchen with mod cons, a Dining/Living Room & the Main Bathroom, where you can put your feet up after a day of exploring. The living room area has an open fire to keep you cosy during the cold evenings, and also has a Television with DVD player, and also a radio. The kitchen is supplied with and electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, and also a deep freezer should you be successful in securing a catch in one of our many fishing areas nearby. The bedrooms both have a double bed in each. In the area, there are many amenities to visit. The area itself is a favourite location for fishermen as there is a many lakes closeby. In the majority of those lakes, you can catch many different varieties of fish including Pike, Trout, Bream, Perch, Tench and Rubb. There are boats available for hire if you require As you are situated close to the coast, why not take an interest in sea fishing where you can catch a vast array of seafood. Fishing trawler with skipper available for hire for sea trips. Equestrian centre available within 4 mile radius which caters for beginners to advanced. Horse riding is also close by should you desire these. Also closeby are excellent 18 hole Golf Courses, the most popular one being Doonbeg Golf Course, which was designed recently by Greg Norman, world renowned golfer. If you are bringing children, there is an indoor Swimming Pool closeby, and also a playground. Only sixteen kilometres from Ireland's attractive Atlantic coast,Corofin village is the Southern Gateway to the famed Burren region which has one of Europe's most distinctive landscapes, the Ailwee Caves, and the magnificent Cliffs of Moher. It is situated on the River Fergus ten kilometres from Ennis. The village takes its name from an ancient fording place on the river Fergus. The hinterland is known as Clare Lakelands and Lake Inchiquin beside the village-often referred to as the 'Killarney of Clare' was the setting for Barker's well known An Angler's Paradise. Set in the unique Burren landscape, Corofin is an old settlement of considerable historical importance having its roots in an estate village created to service the O' Brien barony of Inchiquin. The Burren region of Co Clare comprises a unique heritage landscape of international scientific interest. For instance, the lower Burren region centred on Corofin hosts some of the most distinctive native flora as well as the densest distribution of prehistoric tombs to be found anywhere in the country- upwards of twenty wedge tombs in the parish of Corofin alone. The accumulation of stone forts, of which Cahercommaun near Corofin is an outstanding example are important elements in the Western Stone Forts Project in the current Archaeological Discovery Programme.
