Accommodation: Four bedroomed cottage: The four bedroom house belies its size when viewed from the outside. Walk directly into a well furnished living/dining area with I kitchen opening off it which enjoys all modern conveniences. At ground floor level there are two large bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with a double bed. Both bedooms have good wardrobe and clothes storage facilities. Also at ground floor level is the main bathroom, which is a spacious room having a bath and in-bath shower. At first floor level is the master bedroom which is en-suite and a second double bedroom. Three bedroomed Deluxe Cottage: The three Bedroom Deluxe house sleeps 6 people, while also having the capability to accommodate 8. This house is a dormer bungalow with the staircase serving the master bedroom and mezzanine study opens off the hall. The well appointed living room is two story in height, with a mezzanine study area allowing peace for quiet reading. This area also has a sofa couch which can convert to a double bed if required for extra guests. The well appointed kitchen opens off the dining area and also has a direct access to the garden. There are three spacious bedrooms; the Master bedroom at first floor level has a double bed and its own ensuite with an electric shower and walk in wardrobe. The other two bedrooms are at ground floor level, one is furnished with a double bed and the 2nd with twin beds, There is a large bathroom opening off the hall, which also enjoys an in-bath shower. Three bedroomed Cottage: Three Bedroom house, which sleeps 5, It has a spacious well appointed living room, with a cathedral window giving spectacular views of Lough Scur. The kitchen, with all modern conveniences opens as an annex off the living room. All bedrooms are well furnished, with plenty of storage. The master bedroom has a fine double bed and an en-suite with large shower, toilet and wash hand basin. Bedroom 2 has either a double or twin beds while bedroom 3 is a very spacious single room. A large bathroom serves the house. Activities: Games Room We have a purpose built Games room on site for when you just want to get out of the house. it has a pool table, table football, and lots of board games. Plenty to keep old and young occupied when all you want to do is hangout. Fishing: Here at Lakeside Cottages, some of the best fishing in Europe is right on your doorstep, where you have 740km of the Shannon Erne Waterway to explore. Hundreds of lakes and hidden bends shaded by trees are just right to sit and wait for that perfect fish to bite, whether its Trout, Bream or any of the many varieties found around here. Access to these lakes is very good, the fish are all wild and the fishing is free. Two lakes per day could be fished every day for a fortnight, in the local area, without repetition. Our own lake, Lough Scur offers Pike, Perch, Breem, perch and hybrids. The cottages are situated within a necklace of lakes of all shapes and sizes, having one thing in common, a plentiful supply of fish For the trout and salmon anglers, fabled Lough Melvin, with its unique stock of salmon, sea, ferox, brown and gillaroo trout and its attached river, The Drowse, which returns the first salmon every year, are less than an hour away by car. Lough Sheelin, with its huge stock of large native brown trout is also less than an hour away. The incomparable Moy river, known and fished by anglers from all over the world, is unmatched for the thousands of salmon it yields every year and is less than one and a half hours away. (In 2010 it yielded 12,000 salmon) There is a wealth of local knowledge available within the local community as fishing is serious business in this part of the world. So, whether you like to fish from a boat or stand on a shaded bank, the Shannon Erne Waterway has something for you.
