But summer in the Balearics is best lived outside and days begin with a light breakfast under the pergola, before swimming a few leisurely laps of the crystal-clear pool. Pick out a lounger to while away the hours, and when lunchtime beckons, grill fresh produce on the barbecue and break open a bottle of local wine.
While you could easily spend your entire time basking in the Mediterranean sun at home, we recommend you go out and explore the nearby village, just a half-hour walk or a fifteen-minute cycle from the finca. Secluded yet conveniently located, Alcúdia Beach is also just thirty minutes by car, so you can enjoy relaxing days along the coast – if you can ever peel yourself away from this heavenly oasis, that is.
