Area The village of Ardgour is known as the gateway of the Ardmurchan Peninsula, a popular location for walkers and climbers wishing to explore its beautiful hills. The village sits on the edge of Loch Linnhe and has a shop and a hotel serving delicious food. Fort William can be reached by crossing on the Corran ferry, which ploughs regularly across the narrows of Loch Linnhe, or by road. This is an area ideal for exploring unspoilt Scotland and seeing a variety of wildlife such as otters, seals and red deer in their natural habitat. The area has numerous villages with a good range of shops, restaurants and facilities for visitors, all set among amazing scenery. Region From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Note: There are steps at the front entrance of this property, however there is access at the back of the property that is all one level and suitable for those with mobility issues or wheelchairs.
