There’s shade aplenty if you’d rather curl up with a book and a lemonade, too. Plage de Matteille is less than a kilometre away, where you can splash in the shallows and build sandcastles. It’s also easy to stroll to the harbour promenade – it’s a lovely way to spend an evening. Hikers will be thrilled to be within reach of the trails up Massif de la Clape, which boasts some spectacular views. There’s something for everyone here.
