The area is a designated conservation area and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with an abundance of walking and cycling routes to be enjoyed, including fantastic walking along the banks of the River Orwell. Famous for its sailing and its popular pub, The Butt and Oyster, which is located on the river edge, Pin Mill is a great base for a getaway exploring Suffolk.
