The village is home to two pubs, The Butchers Arms and the White Hart Inn, along with a Post Office selling the essentials. The nearby village of Porthyrhyd is home to two traditional pubs, a general store and a Post Office. Well-placed to explore all the surrounding attractions, Llanddarog allows visitors to explore local country trails and cycle rides, or head to the coast to enjoy the Millenium cycle track. The town of Carmarthen is easily accessible and well worth a visit, home to the remains of a Norman Castle, the site of a Roman amphitheatre, a museum containing Roman relics and a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.
