Grab a crab baguette, hop on the ferry to Falmouth (dolphin-spotting on the way), or go mackerel fishing on the Madeline Rose. And no stay here would be complete without a visit to Henry VIII's St Mawes castle (thirteen minutes on foot). In the evening, the town is buzzing with energy, so sneak away for a cocktail, or hearty pub grub and a pint, if that's more your style. Back at home, your host has thought of every detail to make for a luxurious stay. Expect boutique hotel standards in the light-filled bedrooms - we're talking 100% Egyptian Cotton and mattresses fit for a queen (Hypnos beds hold the Royal Warrant, don't you know).
