The kitchen is compact but well-equipped – make some Emirati pancakes for breakfast before going for a swim in the communal swimming pool. We have to say, the shared facilities are excellent here. As well as the pool, there's a barbeque area, a playground for the kids, a gym, landscaped gardens, shops and supermarkets. Most of the city's main attractions are a ride away, though. The Dubai Mall is a fifteen-minute drive, while the Palm Jumeirah and the Burj Al Arab are just under twenty-five minutes in the car.

*You'll have access to the on-site swimming pool, barbeque, gardens, kids' play area and gym. They're shared with the building's other residents.
*Given the apartment's location in a residential building, you may hear some noise here. We suggest packing earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
*Beach towels aren't provided – you'll need to bring your own.
*Many of the city's main attractions are a drive away, so you'll need to use public transport, hop in a cab or hire a car. There's free covered parking here.
*Dubai International airport is an eighteen-minute drive.
