It takes twenty minutes to stroll into Tavira, where you can admire the Moorish stylings of the squares. There are parks to stroll through and lots of cafes – make sure to pick up some pastel de nata for an afternoon treat. The beaches of the eastern Algarve are within a fifteen-minute drive, so if gazing at the sea has you longing for a paddle, you’re in luck.
