The village, which is rich in history, has several amenities, including The Blue Boar Pub and Tearoom, The Six Bells Inn, a post office, and a sports centre. Since the area is rural, there aren't many attractions, but a quick drive to Bury St Edmunds is advised to see the Moyse's Hall Museum, Abbey Gardens and Ruins, well-liked Bury St Edmunds Golf Club, and majestic St Edmundsbury Cathedral.
