(Reference number: 33815) Typical Irish Farmhouse Accommodation Offers accommodations in two separate self catering cottages, just 2.5 miles from the village of Kilfenora in County Clare, adjacent to the world famous Burren Region, with its spectacular landscape and rare plant life.'The first Farmhouse' is located on our family run dairy farm in the heart of the Irish countryside, while the other cottage, is less than a mile from our family farm. This rental accommodation sleeps eight people. There are two double and two twin rooms ensuite of which one double bedrooms is situated upstairs. The main bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath.These self catering accommodations are suitable for people seeking peace and tranquillity, but also families with children. The children are welcome to take part in milking the cows, or to collect the breakfast eggs.The area is peaceful and relaxing, but within easy reach of a wide variety of amenities and attractions. We provide information folders and the Jim Robinson map in each cottage.From Kilfenora, you can drive right through the heart of the Burren to the Aillwee Cave and Ballyvaughan. From there you can follow the coast road via the beaches of Fanore to the fishing village of Doolin, famous for it's traditional Irish music sessions and day trips to the Aran Islands. Not to be missed, just south of Doolin, are the Cliffs of Moher and a couple of miles on, you will arrive in Lahinch with it's beautiful beach and championship golf course. Carry on to Corofin and from there back to Kilfenora and you have never been more than 10 miles away from Kilfenora village.If you like fishing, Lickeen Lake is nearby as is Inchiquin Lake at Corofin. And again, within a less than 10 mile radius, you have the whole Atlantic coastline to your disposal.In the evenings you can enjoy traditional Irish music and set dancing in Kilfenora and we'll be happy to teach you a few steps, so you can join in yourself.Bruno the pony never fails to be the favourite with the children and adults alike.On arrival, you are welcomed with home baking and you are always welcome to visit our home for a cup of tea and a chat..
