Description

Hello - we are Aisling and Ben and we have a spacious double room available for guests. We love to host short to medium-term guests in our home. This redbrick terrace house is in a quiet neighbourhood in Drimnagh, Dublin 12. It’s within 3 minutes walk to the Blackhorse Luas/tram station (25 minutes to Dublin city centre on the Red line). It’s also within walking distance to Inchicore village and Kilmainham where you'll find historical museums such as IMMA (modern art museum). There are also plenty of bus routes to the city centre, within 5 minute walking distance. Our house is modern, bright and cosy. It has an open-plan living-room and kitchen. Guests can prepare and eat food in our kitchen. You can share our fridge and cupboards for food storage. The available bedroom is a spacious, south-facing room with a double bed. There is a wardrobe as well as a large shelving unit. There is also a neat study desk that's ideal for a laptop. Guests are very welcome to share the television and lounge space with us. We also have a converted attic space which is great for chilling out or listening to music. We are looking for guests who are independent and do their own thing. We're also around to chat and get to know you! We sometimes eat at the same time as guests or watch TV together. Other people prefer their own privacy. We totally respect this. You can come and go as you please and will have your own set of keys. We ask that you are quiet if returning late. Fast unlimited broadband is included in the rent. All of your additional house bills are also included. There is off-street parking if you require it. About us! We are both into travel, enjoy outdoor life and yoga. We are open to all cultures and have travelled widely, from Portugal to Iran! We like to connect with new people and get a true sense of the places we visit. Our house is a place to chill out or occasionally have a couple of friends over for dinner or to watch a movie. It’s not a party house. We're looking for people who are respectful and easygoing. We have a friendly but sometimes grumpy cat called Samson too! Additional benefits: Fast, unlimited broadband - WIFI and fixed network Power shower Off-street parking TV set in shared living room, with Chromecast device for casting from laptop or mobile devices Access to a huge library of books on history, computer science, art, culture and popular psychology Sheltered, leafy back garden Close to bus-stops and Luas station Close to M50 for major road links out of Dublin A quiet home to relax or study Optional cat cuddles! ********* Please note that we require our guests to pay one months deposit in advance of arrival. This payment secures your booking. The balance of payment can be made when you check in. Cancellation Policy: We ask our guests to give us at least 14 days’ notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded. *********
