South Dublin County Council are delighted to announce the upcoming release of 6 newly built, A-rated 2-bedroom homes at Foxwood Barn, Citywest. These houses form a mix of 2-bedroom & 3-bedroom, terraced and end-terrace homes which are available for affordable purchase for those who meet the relevant eligibility requirements under the 'Local Authority Affordable Purchaser Scheme'
It should be noted that the 'minimum sale price' is advertised above and is a reduction from the open market value of the home.
Those who seek to purchase under the scheme and meet the necessary criteria will have the opportunity to purchase a home at a reduced rate. South Dublin County Council (SDCC) will bridge the gap between the open market value of the home and the purchasers combined maximum mortgage and deposit, in return the council will take a partial equity share in the house. Under the scheme qualifying purchasers can still use the Help to Buy Scheme.

This portal will open for online applications at 12 noon on Friday 2nd of August and will close at 4pm on Friday the 23rd of August 2024.
We advise all interested parties to visit the above link prior to the opening of the portal to familiarise yourself with the scheme and eligibility requirements. Those interested will also need to register on SDCC Housing online system prior to applying for the homes in Foxwood Barn.
