Stunning former hunting lodge featured on RTE’s Room to Improve, has been renovated to a high standard with design by Dermot Bannon. The lodge was built in the early 20th century by a London hotelier who used it as a hunting retreat. The ensuite has a two sinks, a solid wood vanity unit, large format tiling and a skylight. The bedroom opposite features wooden floors, built in book shelves and looks out to the courtyard. The shower room features a monsoon shower and walk in shower with mosaic tiling. The Shanty benefits from an idyllic location set amongst lakes and forestry. A very short walk away is a Coillte Forest with a number of trails. The house is a 9 minute drive to Saggart Village where there is a regular tram service into the City Centre and the M50 is an 18 minute drive away.
