Mullaghmeen Forest: If you are looking for walks and hikes a short duration from Clog Na Léinn, there is Mullaghmeen Forest, approximately 17.5 km away . Mullaghmeen Forest is the largest planted beech forest in Ireland. It is 400 ha of forest that includes beech, Sitka spruce, Scots pine and Noble fir and a very interesting native tree collection.
